THE PROPERTY - sleeps 5

Aldon Lodge was built in 1989 on the site of a derelict croft house which had burnt down in 1954 and some remains of the old steading and outbuildings can still be seen today. Mairi and James Gordon bought the land and knew the site would be an ideal location for their family home.  James, a joiner by trade, then took on the task of building the Lodge himself.

Later in 1997, the Lodge was extended to incorporate a luxury two-bedroomed first floor apartment which was purpose built with its own private entrance and patio area.

Amidst farmland and surrounded by some of the most breathtaking scenery in Scotland, the property is an ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Abundant wildlife is literally on the doorstep and the magnificent Cairngorm Mountains dominate the landscape.
